F&B chain management software

iPOS, CukCuk and KiotViet handle counter sales very well. As a chain grows, what needs managing sits behind the counter: recipes, inventory, central kitchen, purchasing, finance and per-store P&L.

Warning signs

Six signs a chain needs ERP behind the POS

POS answers how much you sold. Leadership needs to know how much you made.

01

Revenue up, profit flat

POS reports sales well, but food cost and waste are not measured against recipes.

02

Inventory separate from sales

Stock is managed separately, not deducted by items sold.

03

A central kitchen

Prep production and transfers need production orders, lots and expiry.

04

Several entities

Each company needs its own books and consolidated reporting.

05

Fragmented purchasing

Each store orders alone, making price and supplier control hard.

06

Accountants re-enter data

POS sales are exported to Excel and keyed in again.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to drop iPOS, CukCuk or KiotViet?
No. S4 integrates sales from your current POS into Acumatica. Chains change POS only if they want to, for example to the pre-integrated S4 POS.
How does POS integration with Acumatica work?
Sales by item and store flow into Acumatica on a schedule; the system deducts ingredients by recipe and posts revenue and payments to accounting.
How many stores before a chain needs ERP?
There is no fixed threshold. The need appears with a central kitchen, several entities or when leadership needs per-store P&L on actual food cost.
How is S4 POS different?
S4 POS is provided by S4 and pre-integrated with Acumatica: shift open and close, end-of-shift consolidation and data flowing straight into ERP.
