An Nhien Cafe’s digital transformation
Challenge
Expansion and fundraising plans were delayed by:
- High ingredient waste and thin margins
- Recorded revenue not matching reality
- Slow manual counts open to fraud
- Multiple units of measure per ingredient
Solution
Acumatica integrated with Loyverse POS, from store to back office:
- Sales → accounting → inventory sync
- Barcodes and mobile app at the counter
- Stock by store and unit of measure
- P&L per store and for the chain
- Unlimited users for staff
Results
After go-live and 9 months of support:
- 3% lower cost of goods sold
- 60%+ less counting time
- Accurate real-time stock
- New stores without extra user fees

“Acumatica solved the multi-unit challenge specific to F&B, letting us receive and issue by manufacturer barcode and automatically tell apart case and single-unit barcodes. That was the key to the project’s success at An Nhien Cafe.”Ms. Hieu Tran - COO, An Nhien Cafe

100% receiving, issuing and counting by barcode and mobile
Store staff, including new hires, receive, issue and count stock at the counter with the mobile app and barcodes. Manufacturer barcodes (GTIN) speed up receiving by scanning codes printed on cases and bottles. Unit-of-measure barcodes help baristas issue ingredients in the units they actually use, avoiding stock errors.
About 30 minutes of training is enough for new staff, which makes daily counts a habit rather than a burden.
Transparent data instead of guesswork
For COO Hieu Tran, integrity in an F&B chain is not a slogan but the team’s ability to look at the data and see whether today was done right. Acumatica gives stores, operations, accounting and purchasing one data foundation: ingredients deducted by item, fast mobile counts and daily book-to-physical comparisons.
Instead of arguing about who is right, the team looks at the numbers together and improves. Read the COO interview (Vietnamese).

From a rigid POS link to the n8n platform
In August 2026, S4 moved An Nhien’s Loyverse POS - Acumatica integration to n8n, an open integration platform supporting no-code and low-code workflows.
Centralized integration management
Each data flow is its own workflow, easy to monitor, remap and extend without touching the ERP architecture.
Ready for e-invoicing and banking
The new architecture is a foundation for adding e-invoicing, banking and other digital services when needed.
Zalo for store staff
Store staff receive count requests, send results and submit purchase requests on Zalo without logging in to the ERP.

The biggest value comes after go-live
At An Nhien Cafe, the system was implemented in about 3 months. Most of the value, however, came during the 9 months of post go-live support: user training, process tuning, data cleanup and finishing the management reports leaders rely on. For F&B chains, S4 recommends planning this phase from day one, because this is when daily counts, portion checks and P&L reviews become habits in every store.
